Welcome to another day of studying the Word together. I believe you all have a peaceful day at work. Last week, we look at the import of the Word (Bible) in pressing towards the mark. We saw the need to make the study of the Word priority in our daily life

Today, we are looking at the Power of Praise in pressing forward.

A. Let us read Nen.8:9-12 together;

The word of God read exposed their sins.

Sin is anything we do that is against God’s revealed plan and character.

Sin is seen in actions and attitudes that place us ahead of God.

When you realize your sin and repent, there is joy that leads to outburst of praises as admonished by Nehemiah and Ezra.

Forgiveness of sins leads to celebrations and praises. The joy of the Lord filled their hearts.

Satan always desire to break God’s hedge around Christians through sins.

Every temptation you overcome should bring joy to your heart that should lead you to praises of God that grant the enablement.
