PROGRESS AND GROWTH

MARCH 1|MONDAY
BIBLE READING|PSALM 92:12-15

Progress is not automatic. You grow in order to age. Growth however is
not just about ageing, but more about maturing. Making progress has to
do with constantly and continually developing in all the faculties that are
relevant. You must aspire to gain understanding; you must acquire knowledge, upgrade your skills and update your technology. The believer
must also strive to grow in righteousness as a potent tool for making progress.

When the Bible teaches that the righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, it means that true prosperity is an exclusive preserve of the righteous – those who are in the habit of doing the right things in the right way, at the right time, with the right motive and in the right manner. It is the right attribute portrayed with the right attitude that takes one to the right altitude.

The life of a palm tree is a good teacher on growth. The upright and
towering posture of the palm is a good indicator of physical growth, yet
with a spiritual connotation. Herein is a lesson in dedication, devotion,
diligence and all-round usefulness.

PRAYER: Dear father, I trust you to supply everything I need to grow in you that I may make progress in life on the platform of righteousness
