BIBLE READING|PSALM 15:1-5
LORD, who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill? He who walks uprightly, And works righteousness, And speaks the truth in his heart; He who does not backbite with his tongue, Nor does evil to his neighbour, Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend; In whose eyes a vile person is despised, But he honours those who fear the LORD; He who swears to his own hurt and does not change; He who does not put out his money at usury, nor does he take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved.” Those were the words of the Psalmist in our bible reading of today.
The reason God inhabits our praise is because we understand His holiness and this ignites our relationship with Him by the power of His Holy Spirit who is already in us. The more we understand who God is… the deeper in the Spirit we go and the more interaction we have with God in our prayer time.
As we enter into His holy hill today, let’s bear in mind that we will need to:
Open our hearts;
Review all the things He has done for us;
Rejoice, be glad and sing unto Him;
Acknowledge that He defends us;
Know He is our refuge if we run to Him;
Say what He has done;
Then rejoice in His mercy and Salvation.
PRAYER: Lord, I know it takes holiness to enter into your holy hill; please help me to attain the holiness that pleases you.
